Adults Still Have Teddy Bears

by Commodore on August 17, 2010

Dude

And I don’t mean “Adults” as in two grown women in a psychiatric ward who still think they’re 5.  Before I tell you what the number is, I wanted you to think about it for a second.  What percentage of adults do you think still fall asleep clutching a teddy bear of some sort?  0.001%?  0.002%?  Close.

More than a third of adults still hug a teddy bear while falling asleep, according to a new survey.  The survey also found that 25% of men said they even took their teddy away with them on business because it reminded them of home.

Goodness.  We are turning into the Dodo bird.  We have been isolated for so long that we won’t have the fortitude to do anything if a disaster/threat presents itself.

The study also found that the traditional teddy bear was the most popular cuddly toy among adults, with Winnie the Pooh second and Paddington Bear third.

I wish someone like Winston Churchill could read this.  I’d love to hear his response.
