Hey Napoleon, You Can Have Louisiana Back

Don't try to break this up..

Some people laud the Louisiana Purchase as one of the greatest steals in American history.  I say, the joke’s on us.  What has Louisiana given us other than Bourbon Street, beads, boobies, high BMI’s, Baton Rouge, and a giant bowl shaped city positioned right in the middle of a hurricane highway?  And now there’s this bigoted bonehead to boot!

A Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might have. Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.

Justice of the Peace, huh?  So let me get this straight.  You plan on keeping the peace by doing one of the following 2 things:

1) Telling a black woman that she can’t do something.  Have you ever seen a black woman scared of anything?  Me neither.  Black women are a strong willed bunch.  They’ve gone through a lot in their past, if you don’t remember.  Being black and female hasn’t been the easiest thing.  So I wish you luck keeping things peaceful when you tell a black woman that she can’t marry the person she loves because you are worried about their kids’ lives.  Keith Bardwell, I worry about your life.

2) Telling a white woman that she can’t marry the black guy that she fell in love with.  Have you ever met a white girl who’s like sooooooo in love and that the guy she met is “the one” and “makes her a better person” and “it’s the guy she has been waiting her whole life for” and “it’s fate”?  White girls take this “love” thing quite seriously.  I wish you luck telling them they can’t marry “their one true love sent from above.”

If he does an interracial marriage for one couple, he must do the same for all, he said.  “I try to treat everyone equally,” he said.

Read that again…

“I don’t do interracial marriages because I don’t want to put children in a situation they didn’t bring on themselves,” Bardwell said. “In my heart, I feel the children will later suffer.”

Tell that to the 44th President of the United States of America, dickhead.
