Setbacks. They happen in life. You lose a job. Fire destroys the new addition to the house you’ve been working on. You don’t pull out with a girl who can’t wait to be a mom but “swears” she’s on the pill. Well, you can add a new example to the “Setback dictionary“.

A joy ride through the wilderness of Northern Idaho turned into a nightmare for 22-year-old Michelle Childers and her husband after a tree branch came crashing through a window of their truck — impaling Michelle in the neck.

Holy Crap! I thought that shit only happened with surfboards in movies called Lethal Weapon 2.

“I asked (my husband) ‘what where is it?’ “Childers told the news station. Her husband answered, “It’s in your neck.”

That guy deserves a medal for still being able to speak. If I saw that happen I would have been bawling my eyes out and peeing my pants.

About an hour after the incident, Childers and her husband arrived at Lochsa Lodge near the Idaho/Montana border where a helicopter and ambulance were immediately called in.

An HOUR?! How did she not bleed to death?

Blood Cell #1: Hey man, that looks like a gaping wound over there, we should probably rush over there into the open air.
Blood Cell #2: Fuck that bro. I know a spruce tree when I see one and that is a goddamn spruce tree over there. Spruce trees grow in the ground. I don’t know why it is right there but I’m not fucking with a spruce tree. Something isn’t right. I think it’s a trap.

She’s now recovering at home.
