Florida, Florida, Florida. Damn you. You’re making me appreciate Texas more and more, because at least in Texas most of the time the dumb shit is just said, rather than actually done.

Alright, so he must have been doing some sort of stunt, maybe involving a skateboard, ring of fire, maybe a flame thrower?

“Russell Gortzig, 13, said his friend siphoned gasoline from a riding lawnmower and poured it on Gortzig. The teen said he held the lighter away from him, but a combination of the spark and fumes caught his shorts on fire.”

He WHAT? They actually siphoned gas from a lawnmower and poured it on Russ? And THEN they lit him on fucking fire!?! That’s just about the most goddamn dumb thing I’ve ever heard! Literally!

“McCrea said the boys were trying to copy a stunt they saw on the video sharing Web site, YouTube, where a man in a banana suit lights himself on fire. She warned other parents to closely monitor the online activities of their children and wants YouTube to tighten its user guidelines. She believes YouTube is partially to blame for her son’ pain.”

Yeah that must be it. It’s definitely YouTube’s fault your son is stupid enough to pour fucking gasoline all over himself and then light himself on fire. Seriously Linda? You’re out of your damn mind!

Here’s the thing, people learn shit on the internets every day. I’ve learned how to appropriately perform a Cleveland Steamer, and I can make sweet potato fries. I can even change the vent on my airconditioner. But never would I, nor any individual I know, light myself on fire because of something I watched on YouTube. Linda, own up here and admit that you suck as a parent. You have no idea what your child is doing and you should probably just give him over to CPS so he doesn’t kill himself already.
