Terrible Idea

Sure, this will go over well.....

Sure, this'll go over well.....

Absolutely awful idea folks, so bad that I almost don’t want to address it.  100% stupid.  A better idea would be running a marathon through a polar bear camp in North Siberia wearing a dried meat necklace.

“Cricket’s governing body in the United States wants to create an elite Twenty20 competition along the lines of the lucrative Indian Premier League.”

Cricket?  Did you say “cricket?”  Not a chance.  “Cricket’s Governing Body,” whoever you are, are out of your damn minds.  This will NEVER work!

Look, cricket is popular in India and Pakistan.  That’s it.  Know what else is popular is that part of the world?  Dodging cows while driving motorcycles with no brakes, shitting in the same river you’re washing your clothes in, and riding on TOP of trains.  NONE of this would fly in America and neither will cricket.  I can’t even believe this is getting press (ESPN – what is wrong with you!)

“A Twenty20 game is a shortened version of cricket, completed in about 3½ hours to bring it closer to the length of other sports played in the United States.”

3 and1/2 hours!?!  That’s great, another game American’s will lose interest in because it’s too fucking long.  Baseball already takes about 2 and 1/2 hours and bet you $17 million you can’t show me an individual that doesn’t start channel surfing by the 3rd inning at the LATEST.

And seriously guys, cricket?  Fucking cricket?  It’s hard to tell if these goofballs are doing a ritualistic dance or hoola hooping.  It’s THAT bad.  Good high school baseball players would rather slave their way through 15 years in A-ball before playing cricket.  Gross.

WTF!
